Change Equation Assignment
Your assignment is to use the change equation to change your life in some way (small or large) or change an organization you are involved in or the community you live in.
An example of a person driving positive change, viewed through the Change Equation, is Elon Musk.
Musk is a South African entrepreneur, engineer, inventor and investor. He is the founder, CEO and CTO of SpaceX, the first successful privately-owned orbital launch system manufacturer. Musk was driven by his dissatisfaction with the status quo in the rocket launch industry, dominated by organizations like NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) and ESA (European Space Agency). His vision was to design low cost, reusable, orbital launch systems using new design approaches. Today, SpaceX launch systems resupply the International Space Station. As of February 2015, SpaceX had launched 15 Falcon 9 rockets, with 14 successes and one partial failure, and has at least 30 planned future launches for clients. (Musk is also the CEO and product architect of Tesla Motors – the first battery powered car company, and was co-founder of PayPal – the on-line payment system than fueled the growth of internet-based purchases.)
Elon Musk is one of today’s most impactful change leaders. But there are change leaders everywhere. Your assignment is to use the change equation to change your life in some way (small or large) or change an organization you are involved in or the community you live in.
Follow these four steps:
- Make a list of three facts, issues or circumstances you are dissatisfied with. (For example, you’re frustrated with lack of safe and fun outdoor play areas for children in your neighborhood, you can’t kick your love of foods that are bad for you, and you’re dissatisfied with local politicians decisions.)

2. For each of your three dissatisfactions, describe a specific vision of what positive change could bring. Use sketches (for the playground) or lists (such as your current poor food list and what you’d like to shift to).

The playgrounds of the children lack grass, are cement terraces with four swings, and slides. They do not comply with the required cleaning, and are in the middle of areas of intense noise.
Parents do not deal with children picking up the waste they produce with their sadwichs and sweets, and other edibles.
3.Pick one of these three dissatisfactions, and start taking action steps for implementing change. Do it! Get out of your comfort zone and talk with people about your dissatisfaction, your vision and start making progress on change. (For the new playground, talk with the children: what would they like to see? Talk with parents or caregivers: what would they like to see? Talk with community and business leaders: get them to see and share your dissatisfaction, and start developing the plan to get materials, funding, and volunteers to get a new playground.)
In teaching, teachers should be given continuous and pedagogical training in new technologies, creating classroom models, similar to the professions, which, from children, become accustomed to favorable environments, allowing them to know and develop, a personal, collaborative future And empathic. Making and demanding parents, and family environments participate in the new educational era.
Training resources surround us, are free and very easy to apply.
We have stalled in a swing of the traditional, and the lack of desire to devote time to new educational advances, necessary and enjoyable.
In the work a fear has been created, an immense sociological pressure, forcing everyone to be subjected, in deplorable conditions, by which we, of a more demanding generation, managed to have a minimum of stability, security, training and wages and Sanity. Now anything goes, the minimums are deregulated, and businessmen are slaveowners.
We need social policies, people that regulate and legislate in favor of workers, not that they place them in abuse and social dispersion.
In the poor social quality is enclosed the despot skein of individualism, consumerism, pollution, me first, leaving on the one hand solidarity and empathy. We walk without looking around, we do not see how well or badly happens to our fellow men. Humanism has been contaminated, and much of the responsibility for a disrupted education, which does not show the true attributes, which are necessary to coexist globally

From television and digital media that emit content, prioritize positive educational, social and environmental, making all information is transversal. From the effects of a good meal to the relationship of empathy with the social processes of collaboration, passing through the political responsibility of the statesmen, more educated, untrained and corrupt.
To create a platform for educational reforms that will socially and technically support the most needy, placing at the top of the agenda the need for equality of needs, training for development and a means of transmitting the knowledge of our elders, Younger, from the professions to fantasy.
To demand from the rulers a multiple formation, social and digital, to feel that they are connected with reality.

For example, in relation to the children's play area, they should be taken out of urban and noisy environments and placed in aggressive areas with cultural and ethnic diversity and parallel activities related to the citizen's environment.
Training and play in childhood is the device that accelerates or challenges the evolution of a society.
These local leaders have to go down to the city, and get to understand what the needs, and shortcomings, for example of the playgrounds of children. This was because this example was chosen to develop this point, BUT IT COULD BE GERIATRIC RESIDENCES, LOCAL ADOLESCENT LEISURE, SCHOOLS OF PARENTS, ETC.

A friendly, direct and organized environment of the needs of the social and work environment, preparing groups of study that integrate children, youth and adults, where they expose themselves, and work in the deprivation of the area, and offer their possibilities and resources to favor Job creation, an efficient educational environment, and guaranteed basic resources.

In the parents' school, a list of people, parents, students and teachers was made, noting the lack, needs and resources so that no student had to miss books, food, clothing or medicines, and knowing that monetary resources could be put to Willingness to create paid and clustered work that supports the most vulnerable community. And I work, we find work for five monitors, with salary, and still working.
4. Provide a brief overview of what appeared to be a change agent, and will continue.
The agent of change is the knowledge of the resources and wills of the local environment.
From what I have, and I need, and what I have left, from time, affection and material resources, I put in observance and knowledge of the environment, and push their management, collaboration we arrive at results.
Action based on what is change is to empower the positive!
